Sulfuric acid

Sulfuric acid is the most necessary and versatile chemical substance in the world. The product is used in almost all industrial sectors. Typical areas of use are the production of fertilizers and pigments as well as in metal ore extraction. In addition, sulfuric acid is used widely in the chemical industry in the production of fibers, hydrofluoric acid, chlorine drying, etc. The sources of raw materials for the production of most sulfur acid grades are sulfur and sulfur dioxide (SO2). The technological gases formed in the pyrometallurgical processes for copper extraction are utilized in our production processes.

Although the sulfuric acid produced by Aurubis Bulgaria is among the highest quality on the market, the company also invests in the initial stages of purification in order to further increase the quality of the product.

Aurubis Bulgaria produces two kinds of H2SO4, technical and battery acid.
