Aurubis Bulgaria received a special prize for social investments at the thirteenth edition of the annual awards of the Bulgarian Investment Agency (BIA). The company is honored for its sustainable policy of social responsibility and lasting commitments to the municipalities of Pirdop and Zlatitsa. Aurubis continuously invests in projects at local and national level in the fields of education, culture, young talents development, healthcare. Through its partnership programs with the municipalities of Zlatitsa and Pirdop, as well as additional budgets, the company supports schools and kindergartens in Srednogorie region, develop and maintain sports facilities, supports community centers, groups and sports clubs, disabled people.

Venelina Gocheva, 24 Hours publisher and member of the BIA Jury said when gaving the award to Aurubis Bulgaria CEO Tim Kurth. “This award is for the entire region. We accept it with responsibility and commitment for the future”, Mr. Kurth said during the ceremony at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia.
